Safeguarding for Manual Therapists

Did you know that each year, nearly 2 million people in the UK suffer some form of abuse? As a therapist, it is highly likely that some of these people will come through your door. You may notice signs of abuse in your clients or they may confide in you. Would you be able to recognise a safeguarding issue? Would you know when and how to take action about it? Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You could be the one person that makes a difference in a child or vulnerable adult's life.
